John Michael Talbot is the founder and Minister General of the Brothers and Sisters of Charity at Little Portion Hermitage in Arkansas. The Brothers and Sisters of Charity is an integrated monastic community that includes celibate brothers & sisters, families, and singles.

John Michael was one of the pioneering artists of what has become known as Contemporary Christian Music. He has received awards from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Gospel Music Association, Mercy Corps, and the Mother Teresa award. He was named the 2010 Lecturer at Asbury Theological Seminary, Orlando, FL.

His newest album, “Concert Songs” is the 52nd album in his 35 years in Christian Music Ministry. His just-published books Reflections on St. Francis and The World is My Cloister – Living from the Hermit Within are his 21st & 22nd published books.
